INSTRUCTIONS: The answers you provide will be strictly confidential. Please fill out this form in block letters, clearly and legibly or on a computer. This application can be delivered to the scholarship committee in person, by regular mail, or by email before the designated date.
Requirements:
- Essay of at least 500 words on a computer (12pts./ Times New Roman/Double-Spaced) where the candidate answers the question: How will you use your career to help others?
- Be a Catholic young adult within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and be active in a Catholic parish, movement and/or ministry.
- Speak Spanish.
- Have been accepted to a University, Community or Technical College
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
This request must be answered in Spanish. The essay can be in English or Spanish. The application must be accompanied by a copy of your school record (transcript), the acceptance letter to a university, community or technical college, a copy of your Curriculum Vitae and proof of belonging to a Catholic parish, movement and/or ministry in the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston.

NOTE: Incomplete and/or separated application and required paperwork will not be accepted at the time of delivery. If delivered in person or by mail, please submit the application with all the requirements in a SEALED ENVELOPE . The Curriculum Vitae is your Resume where you list your awards, scholarships and extracurricular activities. All applications will be answered by end of July 2023. The scholarship will be distributed in two parts, half for the fall of 2023 and the rest for the spring of 2024. The funds will be deposited directly to the university or college where the winners attend.
